ParticipantHello guys, I like very much your plugin.
I’ve been working for months in inserting 200 events and everything works fine. Now I’m translating the site with WPML (which was installed, activated and configured from the beginning) but there is something that corrupt the database and broke down all site functionality. Problem disappears when I deactivate the PRO version of Event Calendar.
I have activated debug mode so you can see notices and errors when click on the chinese version of the site. Please help!!! Thank you and regards.
WordPress version: 4.0
Plugin version: 3.8.1
YES, I’ve deactivated all other plugins to check for a plugin conflict.October 17, 2014 at 7:39 am #815896Geoff
MemberHi there, Gianfranco! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry you running into some issues here. Hopefully we can tackle it together and figure it out. 🙂
Thanks for turning on Debug Mode–that’s super helpful!
There are conflicts with PRO and WPML that we are aware of and it looks like that’s what’s what we’re seeing here. WPML pops up in a couple of different places in the debugging notices which leads me to believe that conflict is causing the issue.
Like I said, it’s something we are aware of and are actively working on a better way to integrate The Events Calendar with WPML. I’ll certainly log a note on our internal tracker as we’re trying to keep track of WPML-related requests like this one but, unfortunately, at this time I don’t think there is much we can do to help. However, we’ll do our best to follow up with you here to give you a progress update.
Sorry I don’t have more of a concrete solution for you here, but does this help answer your question? Please let me know
Cheers!

I’m going to go ahead and close this thread, but  I’ve added your comment to our internal tracker and we’ll do our best to keep you updated as there is more to share. In the meantime, please feel free to hit us up with a new thread if any other questions pop up. We’d be happy to help. 🙂
