ParticipantHi,
We have purchased the event calendar pro, and it’s creating a problem on the events page, for some reason it is removing the links “href” attribute on the dropdown menu, it is a normal wordpress menu and and it’s not customized in any way.
please check the link: http://dev.digilabs.ca/armenia.ca/events/i have tried to work around this problem buy using the shortcode but now we need to add the filter bar and we bought that too but i can’t find the shortcode with the filter bar options, and i have read on the forum that such option dose not exist.
is there any way to call a function in the events page template to display the calendar, i guess the problem is that the events page is an archive page that’s why, and you guys are doing something on the archive pages, because when i used the shortcode and created a page everything works fine with no filter check the link: http://localhost/armenia/events-calendar/
i have found a plugin that is creating a conflict with the event calendar which the addon of the “WP RSS Aggregator – Feed to Post” plugin, so can you give alternative options to call the calendar, and i’m a developer so i have already tried the simple options and the shortcode version is working with no conflict but we are missing the filter bar

MemberHi, Hovsep.
Our tribe_events shortcode doesn’t have Filter Bar-specific shortcode arguments.
You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
We can’t visit a “localhost” link.
It also sounds like you’re describing multiple issues. Let’s keep a focus on a single issue. If you do have another issue with a plugin conflict, please create a new/separate thread for that issue.
Thank you.

ParticipantDear Cliff,
I’m sorry about the second link, you should be able to check the issue that we have from the first link but never mind here is the second link page http://dev.digilabs.ca/armenia.ca/events-calendar/
We only have one issue and i want one of the developers to tell me how can we create the a custom Events page with the filter because the short code is not an option then the default events page has a conflict with one of our plugins so if there is a way to call the calendar with a function that you guys implemented then that will be very helpful.

MemberThanks for clarifying.
The calendar views are basically overrides of WordPress’ template for our own custom post type (Events) and aren’t functions in the sense that you could call them from anywhere/everywhere around your site.
However, you could wrap one of our shortcodes in do_shortcode() to get close to that.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

ParticipantDear Cliff,
You are not helping you keep telling me stuff that i don’t need, please tell me which file is responsible for the event calendar page output, can you direct me to the file that is outputting the calendar, if you can’t please find someone on your team that is a developer who can tell me what i need.
Or is there a way that i can change the slug of the events calendar page, maybe that will solve the problem.

MemberSorry my replies haven’t helped you thus far.
You can definitely change the archive slug at wp-admin > Events > Settings > General tab

If you need additional assistance, I’ll run your question(s) by another team member.
Thank you.
