Event Calendar Free Version

I’m using the free version on

http://film-com.com/eventscalendar/

I have no issue with upgrading if that will solve this issue.

I’m using LIST VIEW, have it set to display 40 events per page, although we far less.

Initially, it shows 5, which is LESS than what we have.

When I click NEXT EVENTS, it says There were no results found. (which I know is not correct), so then I click PREVIOUS EVENTS, and only then do all my events display.

Surely that can’t be correct, either I have done something wrong or something is misconfigured. Please advise if you can please.
