ParticipantI am using a custom theme and the pagination works fine until I activate Events Calendar, then it breaks.
By “breaks” I mean clicking on the “Next” or “2” for the second page, reloops back to the main site page rather than going to page 2 of the blog listings.

ParticipantHowdy milcms,
It appears that page 2 of your main blog loop is generating a 301 redirect to the home page. Searching through our forums I do not believe we have seen anyone else experience that error.
Would you mind trying a different theme for me, and seeing if the error persists? That could help us isolate the issue a bit. The Events plugin is probably not jiving too well with something else running on your site.
Furthermore, would it be possible to provide us with a copy of your system information? If you go the Wp Admin > Events > Settings > Help tab, you will see where it displayes your system info. If you could copy and paste that into a private reply here, that could help us as well. Thank you!

ParticipantChanging the theme fixed the issue. It’s isolated to this theme.

ParticipantAlright! Glad we could narrow it down. I have searched a bit and not found anyone with the same problem. Thus, it is most probable that the theme author is doing something very strange and not within WP best practices.
So that leaves two options: 1) You can contact the theme author and ask him if he has any ideas as to what is causing this. 2) Provide us with a copy of your theme in a zip file so I can examine the source code. You could either email it as an attachment to [email protected] (and please reference this thread), or you could upload it somewhere and post a link privately here. Since I am not the author I am somehwat limited in what I can do, but I would be glad to take a look at it and see if I can further isolate the problem if you choose this route.
Please let me know what you decide. Thanks!

ParticipantMilcms,
I was not able to reproduce this problem with your theme and the Event Calendar enabled. Since I am unable to do so this does not appear to be an issue with our plugins, nor an issue with our plugin and your theme. Thus, there is very little support we can provide. Basically we have narrowed it down to something that is likely very unique to your install. Possibly a combination of plugins, and the theme, your host environment, or, some other snowflake.
If I were you, from here I would turn to Google. Unfortunately this is probably not going to be an easy problem to track down. I wish you the best!
