Is it possible to put the filter for the event calendar on its own page / separate from the event calendar itself?

I want my reader to land on the filter section and force the reader to choose filters before seeing the calendar. We have a LOT of events on the calendar and it is too hard to use without filtering. We want the reader to choose by date and category before being presented with a list of 100 things to do, most of which are not in their genre anyway.

Is it possible to have the filter on one page, have the reader choose filters, and then click a button that opens the calendar on another page?

Hi. Thanks for your question. We do not have this feature available.

You might be requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17840326-make-filter-bar-compatible-with-shortcoded-calenda

If so, please do add your vote there. This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.

If, instead, you’re wanting to load the Tribe Bar (search and view switcher) and/or Filter Bar without also displaying a calendar, then you could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

    Thank you.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
