GuestHi,
We are evaluating the Events Calendar and we have found it appropriate for our intended use; however we use Plesk to specify the PHP Settings in particular the open_basedir variable we get warning messages. The only open_basedir value that does not cause this warning to appear is “none”. It is very tempting to leave the value as “none” but we are concerned about the potential security risk this might present. The warning message seems to indicate that the path of several files are not being computed properly.
Below is the open_basedir value that causes the warnings to appear: {WEBSPACEROOT}{/}{;}{TMP}{/}
Below are the warning messages:
Warning: is_readable(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(D:\sites\some.domain.com\httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/D:\sites\some.domain.com\httpdocs/wp-content/languages/plugins/tribe-common-en_US.mo/tribe-common-en_US.mo) is not within the allowed path(s): (D:/sites/some.domain.com\;C:\Windows\Temp\) in D:\sites\some.domain.com\httpdocs\wp-includes\l10n.php on line 556

MemberHi,
Thanks for using the Events Calendar.
Here on the pre-sales forum, I’m afraid we do not provide technical support. I would ask that you take any technical support questions across to our wordpress.org forum – our staff scan it periodically and other community members may also be able to help out.
Thanks again!

ParticipantHowdy Julius,
I see your thread on .org. Thank you for going there!
For anyone else encountering this issue this miniature plugin is fixing it for me. Simply upload and activate it on your website like any other plugin to cause this error to go away. We will patch this bug in a future release:
If you need any further help please open up a support topic. Cheers!
