That is true. Our plugin stores additional fields WP Custom Fields/post meta. That is really the only proper way to store that data. Unfortunately, WordPress does not search Post Meta by design. I guess they figure there is too much irrelevant info in the meta data. However I just googled it, and it looks some people have been able to add the functionality you desire to WordPress. I can not really provide support for a WP customization like that since it is not really a feature of our plugin, but the WordPress API. But hopefully that link helps get you started in the right direction.

From a technical standpoint it is all about how WordPress was designed and how it’s search function works. Let me know if I can assist you with our plugin or its API though.
