Event attendees

Hi Tribe,

does the Events Calendar PRO support event attendees? We host events that are free and i don’t want to send my visitors to Eventbrite or Wootickets, but i absolutely need to know who comes to our events for marketing purposes and to limit the number of attendees.

Hello Gabriele,

It sounds like what would work best for you, understanding that you want to have people sign up for events for free, is the combination of our free The Events Calendar plugin in and the premium (paid) WooCommerce Tickets add-on. You can certainly set the price of “tickets” to zero. That would give you both the ability to limit the number of sign-ups and see a list of attendees. And to be clear, WooCommerce Tickets resides on your website. Your visitors aren’t “sent” anywhere for free tickets. They would only have to bump out to a payment gateway to enter payment information if the tickets had a price.

Hi there. I’m glad that attendees can be recorded using woocommerce tickets. – Regarding woocommerce tickets; would I still need to purchace woo commerce as well as woocommerce tickets to be able to use woocommrce tickets?

WooCommerce Tickets works just fine with The Events Calendar (free) and WooCommerce (free). You’d only have to purchase the WooCommerce Tickets plugin to add the ticketing function. I’d suggest you take a look over at the WooCommerce site to see what your options are there. (woothemes.com/woocommerce/)
