ParticipantHello! I am excited about the upcoming Event Aggregator tool coming out soon, and being able to import events.
Is there going to be an option to prevent other websites who use the Events Calendar from importing my events into their calendar? Thank you!

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in the Event Aggregator.
This plugin enables imports from Facebook, iCal, Meetup, and Google Calendar.
Besides the Meetup feature it is the same import features that are currently available from the Facebook Importer and iCal Importer Plugins.
They are just combined into one product and our servers are going to do the importing and send the events to your site.
The Event Aggregator does not have a feature to directly connect into another site running the Events Calendar and import the events so you are still good there. We may add a feature to do that in the future, but would provide ways to disable that or have it disabled by default as would not be for everyone. Most likely a feature like that would be setup so a person could share events between their own websites. Anyway that is down the road and not planned for now.
If you are worried about people importing your events you can remove the iCal buttons from your site:
And this one is for the month view:

However, there is by default not iCal feed of all your events so it would take some work to get them from your site and I would recommend leaving the iCal buttons as it is a way for people to add events to their personal calendars.
But again there is no direct access create to your sites events by our new plugin for people to take everything you have worked hard to get into your site.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
