Event Aggregator License Key Error

    Hello! I purchased Events Pro, but am getting the error message that Event Aggregator license key is invalid. The “Pro” plugin is working fine. I didn’t purchase the Aggregator plugin, but there is still a place for the Aggregator License Key in settings. How do I make the system know that I don’t have the Aggregator plugin?

    Hi Jeffrey

    Sorry for the confusion.  You should’ve received an email containing a link to download Events Calendar Pro and the license key.

    Can you go to My Account » Downloads and download the Events Calendar Pro plugin.  You’ll need to keep the free The Events Calendar plugin active as well.

    Then get your license key, and go to Events » Settings » Licenses to enter it.

    It looks like you tried to do this, but in the Event Aggregator field instead.

    Let me know if this works now.

    Hello Courtney,
    The only two plugins I have installed are “The Events Calendar” and “The Events Calendar PRO”. I definitely don’t recall ever installing the aggregator. Please see the attached for a screenshot of how my License Key page looks… the place for the Aggregator is there, but I don’t have a key for it (and can’t seem to get rid of it!).

    Hey Jeffrey

    Event Aggregator comes inside of The Events Calendar. If you view your installed plugins, it won’t appear there. It just has a license key field in your Events » Settings » Licenses. Since you haven’t purchased, it should definitely be blank.

    Can you remove the Events Calendar Pro license, hit save, then re-add it? I’m curious why Event Aggregator is prompting you about a license if the box is blank.
