    Hey Modern Tribe Team!

We are looking at getting your Events Aggregator product to streamline our events publication process.

We have a calendar on our site which we want to use as a central repository of all of our community events.
We will publish our open to the public events on Eventbrite to take advantage of their excellent integration with Facebook events.
All of our members only events will be published through a different service called Wild Apricot, which we use to manage our membership base.
The Calendar on our WordPress website should automatically import those events from both sources and categorize them appropriately (ie all events from EventBrite get tagged as “open to the public” and all WildAppricot Events get tagged as “Member’s only”.)

Is that something the Event Aggregator is capable of doing?

Here are some examples of each source:

    Hello Matias

Does Wild Apricot offer you an iCal/.ICS file format? We are able to import those, but not an RSS format.

Are you familiar without Event Aggregator works with Eventbrite Tickets?

Do note at this time, we are also unable to import from Facebook Events as they have recently restricted access to the Facebook Events API.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Thanks
    Courtney 🙂

    Thanks Courtney,

    • Wild Apricot does have an .ics format.
    • We will not be selling tickets on Eventbrite. Is the Eventbrite ticket product necessary in order to import events from Eventbrite?
    • We do not need to import events from Facebook

How does the event aggregation function work? Will we need to import each .ics file manually?

    Hey Martias

You should be able to use the Wild Apricot .ics file to import from there.

In order to import any events from Eventbrite, the additional Eventbrite Tickets plugin is required.

https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/importing-events-from-an-ics-file-with-event-aggregator/ is our guide importing ICS files.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Thanks
    Courtney 🙂

    Hey Martias

I stand corrected. You can use our “Other URL” to import Eventbrite events. You will need to login/authenticate your site with Eventbrite in that process, and no ticket sales will display on your site.

    Thanks
    Courtney 🙂

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
