Sorry if I missed this somewhere – What I’m unclear about in the aggregator for Facebook is whether the full content of the event is brought in or does it have a link back to the facebook Detail page. Are images from the listing pulled in as well?

Good question. Yes, Event Aggregator does fetch all of the content from a Facebook event and brings it into The Events Calendar — including the event photo, which is used as the event post featured image.
