EU Cookie Law and Google Maps Cookies

Hi,
to make it easier to comply with the EU Cookie Law I have modified the google maps embeding of this plugin so it doesn’t set any cookie. To do so the only I have had to change is to use maps.googleapis.com instead of maps.google.com (on a couple of places). But this change breaks the plugin updates and I will have to modify the plugin every update, so, do you think it will be possible to change the domain or to be able to select it from the config or the admin interface?

I can certainly submit this idea to the team and we’ll consider it – realistically though, just to help you plan accordingly, any change along these lines may be a couple of releases away (assuming it’s accepted).
