ETA for RSVP functionality?

Howdy,

Your PRO plugin seems incredible, but without RSVP functionality, I’m not sure if it’s a fit for me personally. I need something that allows people to RSVP/register to financial seminars with the ability to enter their email, and receive a confirmation email thereafter. Having that email go to Mailchimp would be rad as well. I saw in another thread you guys may be working on this type of functionality. Is there an ETA for this?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your interest in our plugins! You are right that PRO doesn’t have an RSVP functionality built in, but it is something you could include with one of our ticketing add-ons. One possible solution would be to set it up through WooCommerce Tickets. You could ask people to “buy” a ticket, but just have the cost be “free”. That way you’d be able to cap and track the attendance, collect email address, and provide attendees with a confirmation message. The plugin doesn’t integrate with MailChimp, but you either export the orders or setup a third-party service such as ifttt.com or zapier.com to do that for you. Oh, and to be clear, the ticketing add-ons do not require PRO. You can use them with our free The Events Calendar plugin if that’s an option you’d be interested in.

So if that sounds like a workable solution for you, the ETA is… now. 🙂

Hey Chris,

I think that most of the discussions regarding RSVP have revolved around one of the ticketing options we offer. If it’s something you’d like to see in PRO, you could put it in as a Feature Idea (https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas). Search for it first and up vote it if you find it, but if not, the more clear you can be about what you’d like it to do, the better.

Do you have any demos of free ticketing options that an end user can see/use? Also, any screenshots of how all that data is brought into WordPress? I like your tool a lot, but don’t want to buy the add-ins without knowing how it works first.
