We have been experiencing some major slowdown on our sites, and one of the reason is the error messages that are coming up in our server for the one site we use your plugin with. The site is iepcheeranddance.com. We are also receiving several hits from hackers on the site, trying to get in. My IT person has “duct taped” the problem for the time being but it does need to be fixed.

I am also experiencing the conflict issue with the customizer not working because the event calendar is active.

    What I have installed:

    The Events Calendar: 4.4.4
    The Events Calendar 4.0.4
The Events Calendar: Community Events: 4.0.4
The Events Calendar: Filter Bar: 4.0.2

    Hi @activeyouth,

Sorry to hear you’ve encountered some difficulties.

It sounds like you are several versions behind with a number of your plugins. Mind updating? We periodically fix things and there’s every chance that by moving to our latest releases you will fix a number of issues.

We have been experiencing some major slowdown on our sites, and one of the reason is the error messages that are coming up in our server for the one site we use your plugin with

The error messages you shared shouldn’t in themselves cause much in the way of a slowdown, though. If the error log is becoming too big, it might be worth doing some cleanup (and if you have an IT person at your disposal, perhaps he can help there by configuring log rotation).

    Thanks!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
