ParticipantHello,
When I create new events the dates that I pick up (2015-03-01 – by the way the picker is not in “french” format should be 03-01-2015 as in my settings) don’t show up on my website as such but becomes 03 mars 2015 (in US format 2015-03-03). And I can’t change the date anyway the events are locked with this date.URL: http://shiatsu-qigong-therapie.fr/stage-cours-qigong-nantes/detoxifier-le-foie/
Please help!
Thanks

MemberHi Caro,
I’m sorry to hear you are hitting difficulties with this.

Just to clarify first of all: the datepicker format settings only apply to the frontend of the site. Within the event editor, the format is fixed (not so much to a US format, which would be more like 10/27/2014, but to the more generic yyyy-mm-dd format you are seeing).

That is strange and I can’t think why the date would “jump” or indeed why it would be locked in place.
YES, I’ve deactivated all other plugins to check for a plugin conflict.
YES, I’ve reverted to the 2011 default WordPress theme (with other plugins still deactivated) to check for a theme conflict. It looks like you already ran through our standard troubleshooting steps, can you confirm if that enabled you to identify any conflicts? Did this strange behaviour persist even with a default, unmodified theme and no other plugins running?
Thanks!

MemberOK, I’m happy to hear that.
Before I close this thread can I ask if you found this was the result of a conflict, or provide any other information that might be helpful to other users? It would be awesome to find out what was behind this 🙂
