Youna
MemberHi,
My website link is http://www.ethicalliving.com.au/events/community/add/
I’m getting the following error message when I try to add a new event via Community Events add-on
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function has_post_thumbnail() in /home/ethicall/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/views/event-form.php on line 70
Event Image”Can you advise what I need to do to fix this??
Thanks in advance.

MemberHi Youna. Thanks for your report, and sorry to hear you’re encountering problems. I am unable to submit an event on your site since the form requires an account to access…but can you confirm a few things for me in the interim? Specifically:
* Make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress (3.4 or higher).
* Make sure you’re running the latest version of the Events plugin (2.0.8) and the Community plugin (1.0.2).
* It could be a permalinks-related issue. Resave your permalinks page to reset them. If you have permalinks turned off, turn them on with a structure like /%postname%/.
* Switch to a different templating option under Settings –> The Events Calendar, using the dropdown.
* Try increasing the PHP memory for your website: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/
* Try the plugin deactivation route: deactivate your other plugins one-by-one, until just The Events Calendar/PRO are active, to see if it’s a conflict on that end.
* If that doesn’t do the trick, is there a staging environment where you can test all plugins off (except Events) AND reverting to the default 2011 theme?
* Please confirm that you haven’t modified any of the core plugin files or the Community template in any way yet.Let me know about those and if the deactivation route clears up the issue. (My guess is this is a conflict either with another plugin or the theme). If that doesn’t bring any luck, can you enable anonymous submissions and let me know so I can attempt on my end? We’ll do what we can to get you through this!

MemberThanks Rob…updating to WP 3.4.1 did the trick…I had already donw everything else on your list, and thought that perhaps it was a theme conflict, but the most obvious solution was the one that did it…d’oh!!
Thanks again for providing such fantastic support!!
