I am getting the following error messages when trying to save events. It looks like the data is saving, you just have to hit the back button and then hit refresh. I do not remember seeing this before the latest 4.0.2 update. Any idea as to what is causing these errors?

Notice: date_default_timezone_set(): Timezone ID ‘UTC+0’ is invalid in /home/sbcministries/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Exclusions.php on line 56

    Howdy @dwruck,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll help you figuring out what’s happening here.

Let’s start by checking what’s the timezone you are using in your site. You can check on that by going to WP-Admin > Settings > General > Timezone, once in there please Save Changes and try again.

If this continues to fail, please follow-up with your system info in a private reply. I see that you marked this was tested with default theme and no other plugins active, Can you confirm this?

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

The time zone was not set correctly, so I fixed it but that still did not resolve the issue. I have disabled all the plugins except for yours and then also set the theme to the twenty-fifteen and that did not help.

It looks like the error code is still the same. Here it is just in case you want to compare:

Notice: date_default_timezone_set(): Timezone ID ‘UTC+0’ is invalid in /home/sbcministries/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Exclusions.php on line 56

I’m getting the exact same error trying to post events. Are there any updates on the status of this issue?

    Hey @M Hawk,

I’m sorry to hear you have these issues, too. There is unfortunately not an update on this at this time.

This is a bug that we will need to continue to investigate – I do not have an ETA on when a bug fix will arrive 🙁

And this is worth noting for you, too @dwruck – to be clear, this “error” is just a PHP “notice” – that does NOT mean that we still shouldn’t fix this! However, this should not cause actual functionality errors in your site.

    I hope that helps.

Also, apologies for the delayed response @dwruck! Your last replies on December 23 reached us as we were all heading out as a team for the holidays; and then Nico himself has been out-of-office for a while. Thank you for your patience.

    Thanks folks,
    George
