Error Importing Events from Closed Facebook Group.

Hi, I do not seem to be able to import events from a closed facebook group.
Can you please confirm this functionality works as I bought the plugin on this premise this would work. I have created the facebook app and populated all the required details but get the following error messages.

Either the event with ID 299321676880747 does not exist, is marked as
private on Facebook or we couldn’t reach the Facebook API
Please note that as a result, no events were successfully imported.

The following errors have occurred during importing images:
A valid URL was not provided.

Please note that this does not effect importing of associated events unless noted.

Hi:

Thanks for reaching out to us! Currently the “Facebook Events” plug-in is unable to import events from Private or Closed Groups due to limitations with the Facebook API. These restrictions are outlined on the plug-in overview page of our website.

Unfortunately as this is a limitation with the Facebook API we can’t enable this functionality. If this means you won’t be able to use the plug-in let me know and we can see about getting you a refund.

Thank you for your response. Yes, kindly request a refund.
Unfortunately only bought this as needed the facebook connectivity and without it, it wont be much use to me at all. Let me know if you need anything else from me to process the refund.
