ParticipantHello,
Trying out the Aggregator for the first time and am having problems. I found the iCAL url in my Google Calendar settings. Verified that it’s set to public. But I get this error:There was an error fetching the results from your import: There was a problem processing your import. Please try again.I have tried it with both the public and private iCAL URL. I have also tried Scheduled Import and One-Time Import. All give the same error message.
Any idea what’s going on?

ParticipantActually, it works now — maybe because I put a start date on the import? Not sure.

ParticipantI do have a follow-up to this, though:
I thought I’d do a one-time import to get everything that is in the Google calendar now, then set it up to do daily imports. Will this now create duplicates if I’ve already imported existing ones?

MemberHey Dorothy,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
I’m glad to know that your imports are working as expected now! Answering your question, the scheduled imports won’t duplicate your events, they will just be updated based on your configs at Events -> Settings -> Imports -> Event Update Authority.
You can choose between three options:
1- Overwrite your event with any changes from the original source.
2- Do not re-import events. Changes made locally will be preserved.
3- Import events but preserve local changes to event fields.
You will find further information about these settings in the following article:
I hope this helps! If you need further assistance on this, please let me know!
Regards,
Patricia
