Error: depracated

Upgraded and every event has this message, Sidebar now has error, errors showing on public event date pages.:

Notice: tribe_events_the_notices is deprecated since version 4.0! Use tribe_the_notices instead. in /home/commu123/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3573

or this :

Notice: Undefined variable: sidebar in /home/commu123/public_html/wp-content/themes/church-event/vamtam/classes/sidebars.php on line 171

no idea how to fix this. Please help anyone. Thank you.

Hey @Wildersites,

Really sorry to hear this! This is not an error I can reproduce–perhaps your theme has some custom code that is causing this?

To that end I would recommend activating a “default” theme, like Twenty Twelve or Twenty Sixteen or any similarly-named themes.

When one of these themes is active, does the error remain?
