ParticipantI get this error Warning: Missing argument 2 for WP_Router_Page::get_title() in /home/content/94/9507694/html/mydestinationcuisine/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/vendor/wp-router/WP_Router_Page.class.php on line 144 after I installed the community events plugin. Had no problem with the free plugin or the Events Calendar Pro. The error only shows on the Submit an Event page. It appears to be overriding the theme. I tried to set that page to full width so the right side widget does not display but it won’t allow me to set it.

Participantvisualsplash,
Thanks for reaching out! 🙂 Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. If you’re referring to the errors displaying in the sidebar widget, then I’m definitely seeing that on my end. Unfortunately, since the plugin is modifying the WordPress query, some third-party widgets can have conflicts. Your best bet would be to do one of the following:- Disable/hide the offending widget on the Community Event Pages
- Use a full-width page template on the Community Events Pages
I’d be happy to give you some instructions for either option. Just let me know which route you’d prefer. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantIs it possible to only hide the offending widget on the post event page? I also want to ensure we are using the same reference…when you say community event pages, are you referring only to the submit an event page? I need the travel widgets on the search results/map pages as that is part of my revenue stream so if we can use a full page template on the submit event page, that will work for me. Thanks for your help….your plugins have been great to work with. I have a side question…can I tweak your plugin to show “venues” on the map (in place of having a separate directory). For example, I want to list a cooking class company on the map as well as the classes they teach by date. Essentially, they are the venue. Thanks for your feedback. It could be another add on for you (with very little work I think)

Participantvisualsplash,
Yes, we can definitely hide the widget only on the Community Event Submission page, and the ‘My Events’ listing page. To do this, just paste the following snippet into your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/9666551Give that shot and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantGreat! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. 🙂
