ParticipantI’m quite frustrated, I’ve deactivated every plugin except for Events Calendar Pro 2.0.9 (latest edition) and being forced to run the Free version, which makes little sense to me. The Calendar which used to work with the Free version alone is now completely broken when upgrading and installing on all browsers. Guys, I am in no way going to go backwards and install 2011 default WP theme in order to troubleshoot this, it’s bad enough I had to deactivate all of my plugins. There has to be a better process for this, it’s getting annoying, no offense.

Unfortunately, this lovely plugin breaks Events Calendar Pro 2.0.9 (Late Septemeber, 2012 release).September 21, 2012 at 8:14 am #25520Barry
MemberHi Alexander: just to be clear, are you telling us that the conflict is with TubePress?

ParticipantHi Barry,
Indeed, it does, I did some troubleshooting (time consuming) and whether it’s your update or their update, the two do not work together very well. However, maybe that is theme dependent as well.http://www.pghmannerchor.com/events

ParticipantI should mention, as soon as I deactivated TubePress, your awesome tool worked once again! Thanks!

ParticipantBTW, it might be a good idea to put an icon or moniker on the users that purchased your tool, much like ThemeForest does.
Thanks!

MemberWell, glad to hear you isolated the problem at any rate.
I’m not familiar with Theme Forest’s forum, but so far as posting here goes only those who have purchased Events Calendar Pro are allowed (or should be allowed) to create new posts.

ParticipantI see, that works as well. Yes, Rob and I were E-mailing each other for a while. TubePress wasn’t breaking things with the 2.0.8 release, whatever you guys did or he did with the latest upgrade of TubePress caused that are to break.
Thanks

ParticipantBTW, love the ability to place reoccuring events, this is why I bought it and the iCal and Google import.

MemberHey Alex. Just sent you an email as well to follow-up on this, so feel free to respond to that as to the specifics. Awesome to hear that you’re enjoying the recurrence functionality…that’s definitely one of the main selling points for PRO and we’re looking to take it even further with more random recurrence options in 2.1, when that is released over the next couple months. We think you’ll like it.
Let me know what else we can do here, and thanks again for your updates and troubleshooting of this issue.

ParticipantTo be honest with you guys, I’ve also installed it here: http://www.ultimatedefensivedriving.us/events. However, he is not going to have a need for the PRO version. If he decides to use it, I will pay for it.
Thanks
