Enfold Theme and Recurring Events – Broken Styling

I’m experiencing issues with recurring events using the Enfold Theme by Kriesi – you can see on this page under Senior Friends the recurring event issue.

Right under that section there is another section which is not recurring events and it looks fine.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the link, I checked out that page and saw the issue you mention. It might not be coming from the theme, but rather from a JavaScript conflict on your page. There are two showstopping Syntax Errors which are breaking the JavaScript for the rest of the page.

The code is compressed/minified so it’s hard to tell where it’s coming from, but I’d recommend leaving Enfold active for now and trying to disable each non-Tribe plugin one at a time – check back on the page after each plugin deactivation.

Let us know what you find by doing this!

Wow, thanks for the speedy response.

As far as deactivating plugins, I deactivated all plugins and still had the issue and then I went and activated twenty fourteen and had the same issue.

Hm, those results are very odd. Thank you for testing those things though.

I’m curious – would you be able to leave your site in a state where all plugins are deactivated other than The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, and your theme is a default theme like Twenty Fourteen or something?

I will check things out again with your site in that state.

Also, if you have caching or minification plugins, please be sure to disable these as well.

I removed the login information you posted here since we cannot log into user sites, and for security 😉

I know you have experienced that feeling of being caught in between support and that’s what I’m hoping to avoid.

I’ve definitely experienced this and am indeed trying to help out here! To further that goal, can you clarify exactly what you mean when you wrote this:

If the Enfold theme is providing any different interface for our recurring events feature, then this truly is a theme issue that we would not be able to help with, and could at best just encourage to see if they can help you remove their custom interface and any custom code related to The Events Calendar.

Can you clarify what you meant by that quote? Can you take a screenshot of their drag-n-drop module for this?
