    Hello,

    Just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of folks with this issue. Newly created recurring events duplicate themselves until action is taken to stop the process.

    The issue persists when creating events with different recurrence rules on the Twenty Fourteen theme and with all other plugins deactivated. I have attached my system info and a screenshot of the Time & Date settings.

    The 4.2.2.1 update seems to have solved the issue. Thank you!
