ParticipantWhen I set the “end of day cut off” to say 2am (we often have events go past midnight), creating an “All Day Event” displays the event in two days in the month view. (the selected day, AND the day before the selected day).

MemberHi there folks,
Thanks for the note. I have not been able to recreate this problem. Could you post an example and/or screenshots? That would help me troubleshoot further. Also, please confirm that you are running the most current versions of the plugins, The Events Calendar 3.0.1 and Events Calendar PRO 3.0.3.
Also, viracreatv, does your +1 mean that you’re seeing the same thing?
Thanks,
LeahJuly 18, 2013 at 4:58 pm #56000viracreatv
ParticipantHi Leah,
Yes. I am having the same issue ECP 3.0.1. I have not updated to 3.0.3 due to issues encountered with events not showing.
Event time 9pm-2am shows on two dates: http://screencast.com/t/bvw1WAK9UXbJuly 22, 2013 at 4:36 pm #56414Leah
MemberHi viracreatv,
Can you post a screenshot of that events settings as well as your general settings tab? I am still not able to recreate the issue, even with PRO 3.0.1.
Thanks,
LeahJuly 25, 2013 at 9:16 am #57116jadonulrich
ParticipantAll day events on 7/25, 7/26, and 7/27. It is adding a second event on the day before as well. http://theslowdown.com/events/month/

ParticipantHi Leah,
Here’s my screenshot for the event setting: http://screencast.com/t/OhPFNiF80
Event time 9pm-2am shows on two dates: http://screencast.com/t/bvw1WAK9UXb —technically it spans two days but would rather have it show on one day unless it is set to all day on two days.
Hope the screenshots explain more clearly.July 25, 2013 at 12:54 pm #57178jadonulrich
Participantviracreatv, if you set the “end of day cuttoff” to 2am or later in the Events General settings tab, I think that may fix your issue.

ParticipantThanks for the suggestion, jadonulrich. The calendar still shows the event on two days after setting to 2am cutoff.

Participantmaybe it doesn’t make a difference with your specific issue, but I set my cutoff to 2:30 am, and it’s working for me for 2am events.

ParticipantYes. Setting end of day to 2:30am makes THE difference 🙂
Thank you. Leah, are we setting end of day correctly?July 25, 2013 at 1:10 pm #57185jadonulrich
ParticipantLeah, just to confirm though, this does not answer my problem where events marked as “all day” show up on two days.

Participantjadonulrich, my apologies for hijacking your thread 🙂

MemberHi jadonulrich,
Apologies for the delay – we’ve had far more support requests than are normal in recent weeks and regrettably this has meant that we haven’t been able to get replies out with our normal speed.
This definitely looks like a bug to me, however, and I will log it as such so that the dev team can address it soonest.
