End display of 5-day event in list of upcoming event before event starts

I am working with the free version of The Events Calendar, and have noticed that our 5-day courses are being displayed in the list of upcoming events in the widget on the home page for the full 5 days the course is being offered (the date range of the event). I would like to have the event stop being displayed at the end of the day before the course begins, since it is too late to enroll in the course once it starts. How would I specify this? The development site is: http://www.transportationtraining.com/newsite2/ and the Upcoming Courses widget shows up on the home page on the right. Can I achieve this with the free version, or would I need the Pro version?
