Do you have feature for people to post comments on the event? Have a button or link near the tickets button for customers?

    Hey Chris,

Absolutely! There is a setting under Events > Settings that allows you to enable or disable comments for event posts (screenshot).

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Geoff

The comments are showing up way at the bottom of the page. Is there anyway to put a link or icon for the comments near the Buy button or near the Event Date

    Hi Jay,

Yes, you could override the event template file and move the comments where you would like them to be displayed.

We have more information on templates overrides in our Themer’s Guide, but it basically boils down to this:

    • Make a copy of the single-event.php file. It is located at /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php.
    • Make a new folder in your theme (or child theme) called tribe-events
    • Drop the copied single-event.php file in that folder

Now that the template is in your theme, you can modify it to suit your needs. 🙂

I hope this helps get you started! I think we’re starting to move away from pre-sales into technical support, but if you have any other pre-sales questions, then I would be happy to answer them for you.

    Thanks,
    Geoff

Hey folks, I see my last reply was marked as the correct answer — I’ll go ahead and close this thread but please let us know if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Geoff
