    Hi,

I’ve been searching for about this problem on the internet for serveral hours, but couldn’t find a solution. 🙁
    Maybe you can help.

I’ve been using a customization to create a additional RSS-Feed, which worked pretty fine for several months. Today I realized that it doesn’t validate anymore (please see URL in the next private post, can’t make is public).

Reason for the non-validation this is the empty XML-Tag <wfw:commentRss></wfw:commentRss>. It’s missing the URI in between the two tags.
Do you know where this XML-Tag is located in the code or why it is empty?
Is it inside WordPress or TEC? (Google says it’s located in wordpress/wp-rss2.php, but this files doesn’t exist).

    Best regards for any help!
    Oliver

    Hello Oliver,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I was unable to reproduce the error with a default event feed. Does the validation issues persist with the customization excluded?

For the most part, I believe our RSS feeds are stock feeds that come along as part of being a WordPress custom post type. Do you get the same validation issues when testing feeds from other parts of your site?

    Thanks!

    Thanks Josh!

    you saved my day!
The hint you gave was the right one!
I had some old customization piece for the RSS feed, which caused the error:

Erroneous link to comment/feed in page source for every event

After removing it the bug dissapered 🙂

Best regards and a nice weekend!
    Oliver
