ParticipantThis is different from Alvaro’s problem in the similarly titled Knowledgebase report. For one thing it does occur even when I’m logged in as admin on the site.
The box for the Google map does appear on the page but it’s empty. I did configure a Google Map API key.
I am unable to set Events => Help => System Information => automatically share. the error is “No route was found matching the URL and request method Code:rest_no_route Status:404”.

ParticipantI forgot to mention. The console error is this:

MemberHey David
It looks like there are a few updates available to your plugins. Can you start by updating those, then checking again if the issue happens?
After updates, does this same thing happen when you disable all other plugins except The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro? And if you do this while using a default theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/?
For reference, https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/troubleshooting-google-maps/ might have some help.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Courtney, thanks for getting back to me. The problem is still there. I’ve updated all the plugins, and deactivated all except The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro. I’m using theme Twenty Seventeen. I believe I’m doing everything suggested in https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/troubleshooting-google-maps/ In particular: – I have “hit the βEnable Google Mapsβ checkbox on the backend, under Events β Settings.”
– In the example event http://aacny.org/wordpress/area47stage/?tribe_events=area-assembly-2, the event editor’s checkbox for “Show Google Map” is checked.
– I have added a Google Maps API Key and entered it in Events => Event Settings => APIs => Google Maps API
– There are no broken venues reported on the admin screen or Events => Events Settings => General => Map Settings.
– In the Venue editor I checked the box for “Use latitude + longitude”. The values were automatically filled in.
– I’ve emptied the browser cache. The only error in the javascript console continues to be this:
ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: debug tribe-events-pro.min.js:111September 7, 2018 at 5:29 am #1616070Courtney
MemberHi David
Can you switch off the debug under Events > Settings > tab General?
Also, there is some bugging setting in Events > Help. Please set that to disabled too.
It looks like there are bugs in the debugger.
Thanks

Participant> Can you switch off the debug under Events > Settings > tab General?
Bingo! That did it. Works perfectly now.

MemberThanks David. Glad you got it working. Curious if you did the updates I suggested earlier. We believe we had the buggy debug fixed with an update. If not, I’ll need to reopen our internal bug ticket to have this reviewed again.
Thanks
