    Hello,
I’m working in a project and I am seriously thinking to buy Events Calendar plugin.
    Before I have 2 questions:
    1. Actually I’m using the free version and when I installed the plugin was created automatically a “Event page” and I cannot change nothing inside this page.
In pro version I can put more things inside this page or I can use shortcodes to put the Event calendar in other pages?

    2. I would like to use a small calendar on my home page and when the user click on a day, he see the events on that day or and have the option to go to full calendar on the Events page. Is it possible? Do you have some example?

    I’m using Avada WordPress theme.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hey Steffania,

Thanks for your interest in the Pro plugin! I will address your questions in order:

    1. Actually I’m using the free version and when I installed the plugin was created automatically a “Event page” and I cannot change nothing inside this page. In pro version I can put more things inside this page or I can use shortcodes to put the Event calendar in other pages?

The lack of back-end management available for the Events page is by design. This page is a “fake” page, it’s more of an endpoint for events like a feed. This is so that we can serve up events for months and years into the future or past…a static page doesn’t afford the same flexibility.

This works the same way with the PRO add-on installed. Further, there is unfortunately not a way to embed the fully-featured month view or other calendar views into a page via shortcode. The most we have are some widget shortcodes as written about here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/

    2. I would like to use a small calendar on my home page and when the user click on a day, he see the events on that day or and have the option to go to full calendar on the Events page. Is it possible? Do you have some example?

I unfortunately don’t know quite what you mean here, which fact I am genuinely sorry about. Check out the built-in “Day View” that comes with Events Calendar Pro on our demo site here → http://wpshindig.com/events/today/

Anything you’re seeking here that is not there already would only be possible with code customization as per the Themer’s Guide here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

We’re not able to help with any custom code, but that guide alone should get you quite far with any customizations you seek to make – if not, you’d have to hire someone to help out. We have a list of highly-rated developers for hire here → http://m.tri.be/18k1

    Cheers!
