Emails are not being sent

    Using Event Calendar and Event Ticket plus. Emails are not sent when order is marked complete.
    Nor when I select Tickets from the action menu.
    Tried WP Easy SMTP and I can’t get an email to go through.
    Based on the level of forum posts, I am not the only one that has issues getting emails to go out.
    I tried a free ticket solution from a different vendor and it worked, I assumed your paid solution would work in a superior fashion.
    I chose your due to Woo integration, the other solution worked without Woo.
    Hopefully you can provide timely resolution/assistance.

    Hi, I really need a solution on this.
    Additional failures are that I cannot manually generate a ticket layout and email that manually.
    I would think that I should be able to generate a sold ticket.
    Re-queuing the Ticket to be sent via email just produces a 404 on my site.

    I should at the very least be able to generate a pdf of the sold ticket and email that manually.

    I host at Godaddy. I was able to get emails to send by creating an email addesss, which is free with hosting. I then added plugin for WP SMTP. After configuring it to use mail.mydomain.org and port 25, I told it user and password for the new email address and emails went as they should.
    My level of confidence in ETP has not increased, but I hope to not have any other major glitches

    I am glad to see you were able to figure it out.

    Email is one of those tricky things as all we can do is plugin into WordPress’s functions to send email. The host takes it from there and due to SPAM some hosts are more restrictive out of the box on sending emails from sites.

    I am going to go ahead and close this ticket. If you have a similar issue or another in the future, please do not hesitate to create a new ticket.
