Email weekly summary of events

I had found this topic in another post but it had been closed.

We would like to on a weekly basis email subscribers a summary of events for that week. Like on a Monday email those that subscribe all the events for that week. I saw in the other post some suggestions of how to email out individual events, which will be helpful too, but we’d like to request a feature to email weekly summaries.

Possibly even allow the subscribers to decide what type of events they are interested in seeing, and not all of the events. ie. Art Shows only. Or Art Shows and Live Music Events only and not Comedy shows, etc. I think you get the picture.

After looking a little deeper into some other’s forum posts, I believe I found that MailPoet may do what we need it to do. I will be working on it this week and confirm if that provided the solution I was looking for.

That is a good question and MailPoet is indeed a nice plugin to look into. Definitely start there and I’ll keep this thread open a while for you to report back with any questions you might have. 🙂
