email obfuscating not working

Hi guys, in your plugin you suggest that I should “consider obfuscating any e-mail address published on your site to best avoid it getting harvested by spammers. ” I used the link provided & I’ve tried many of the plugins including the following:
Graceful Email Obfuscation
Obfuscate E-mail
WP-SpamShield Anti-Spam
Email Address Encoder
Pixeline’s Email Protector
WP Mailto Links – Manage Email Links
CryptX

So far none have worked and I’m guessing its related to the fields being “custom” I seem to have the best chance using CryptX, but I don’t understand what file/template I’m supposed to add the info to. According to the directions provided in this screen shot I need to the code to your template but I don’t know what one or where to locate it. Is this something you can help with since your plugin suggested it?
