Hi. I have found a plugin that sends out notifications when new events – custom post types – are created and updated! It’s called Better WordPress Notifications.
However, the notification only pulls in some of the info associated with the event. Specifically, it sends an email that contains the Event Date & Time, Event Title, Event Details (text only) and Event Organizer – but not Event Categories.
Any ideas on why? Given the nature of this project, including Event Categories in this notification is very important.
