    My original License was purchased by a developer and now it’s time to renew. I would like to do this myself without the developer. What should I do? If I buy new, will I lose all the entries that are in the current calendar?

    Hi Cheryl

    When you enter a new license key into your site, your data will be preserved. I would recommend conducting tests on a <a href=”https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/ title=“Staging Server”>staging server (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-using-wordpress-staging-site/), or at the very least making sure that your webhost has a saved version of your site first. But in changing license keys, no event data is altered or removed.
