Email content plain text

Some spam filters are setup to reject emails that only have HTML content. For example, SpamAssassin will weight such msgs by 2 points out of 10 for not having a plain text component. WooCommerce supports sending multi part emails, but the Tickets Email object only implements get_content_html. LOTS of customer ticket orders are getting routed to spam which means that we have a lot of headaches dealing with unhappy customers.

Thanks for the heads up!

I can see how plain text emails would be super helpful. Although it’s not an available feature out of the box at the moment, I would encourage you to add it to our feature request forum so it’s on our radar.

It would take some thought into how to handle the QR code capability in plain text but that would be an interesting challenge.
