Email Confirmation – Community Events

Hi there,

I’m just wondering there is any way to send a customise confirmation email to users who submit an event. Is this a part of ‘community events calendar’?

Hey @k,

You can definitely customize this email – in the Community Events plugin, the template file is src/views/community/email-template.php

Customizing that file requires using the system described in our knowledgebase article here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

If you use those methods, you can customize the emails to include pretty much anything you’d like, and make them look however you want.

It does require custom coding, however, so if you’re not familiar with custom coding then it might not be a useful solution for you. Let me know what you think!
