ParticipantIs there away to extract the event organizer’s email from the data? We want to integrate this with a mail plugin that will send emails to the organizers, reminders etc… Do you recommend a certain mail plugin? OR , does this plugin have the capabilities to do notification emails? One when someone sets up an event and one when we approve the event? Any information you can provide will be helpful just in case we missed something… Thank you.

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
We currently do not have any notification features nor recommendations for such.
The organizer email is stored as a custom field:
_OrganizerEmail
We have most of the custom fields list here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-post-meta-data/
To get that information you can try to follow along with what we do in this template to display the organizers for an event:
plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/meta/organizer.php
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
Thank you for getting back to us. Since I wrote you this question we have discovered information in the forums that the Plugins Better Notifications Emails and Membership can work with the Events Calendar to send notifications, but we can’t seem to get things set correctly.
We are trying to send an email automatically to the Organizer when the event is created, also send an email automatically to the organizer when the event is approved. Do you know how this would all work together.

MemberHi,
I am not sure how that will work together. I do not have any information on it and limited in only supporting features we ship with the plugins.
If they can somehow target the Organizer Email field that might work. To get there looks to take custom coding we try to help get you started on that, but not able to provide the entire piece.
If you have specific questions I can try to answer them to get you started.
Let me know.
Thanks

MemberSo I remembered this plugin that sends Organizers emails when a ticket is purchased:
https://github.com/thebeard/events-calendar-pro-organizer-mail/
You might be able to modify that or pull out coding from it to do what you would like.
Cheers
