Email after auto importing Facebook Events

Hi,

I’ve recently bought Event Calendar Pro and the Community Events / Facebook Events add ons. I’ve successfully configured everything and from what I can see, it seems to be working.

I have set up the Community Events so they are set to “Pending Review” after being added and set up an alert to send me an email when a new event is added using the Community Events. Works perfectly and allows me toch check a few things and maybe even correct some stuf SEO wise before the event is added to the calendar.

I was wondering if there is a way to set this up for the Facebook imports as well? Right now I’ve set it up so the events get the status “Pending Review”, but I can’t seem to find a way to set up alerts for Facebook Imports. This causes me to sometimes miss events which are Pending since I didn’t get an email from that. Of course I could just make sure the events are automatically published, but I don’t really want to do that. I really want to double check a few things, maybe correct a few things, make images smaller, add pricing, links … whatever before the event appears on the calendar.

Is there an easy way to do that? If not … would it be hard adding that in a future release?

Thanks for reaching out to us, and welcome to the TheEventsCalendar (TEC for shorts) forums. I hope I can help you on your issue.

Since we are a big team I cannot say for sure that this is something that we can fix and/or improve on our plugin in the near future, because we are just wrapping up the next version but I will test and see if it’s confirmed as a bug I will create a ticket for it.

What you might do here is have a warning setup for any event that pops on your WordPress to review, and there are a few plugins that can do that for your or you can craft the code yourself if you know how to, (if you do tell me and I can point you in the right direction).
