    Hi, Guys.
I’d like to follow up on another thread:

Editing Page titles when using wordpress seo plugin

I’m having trouble getting the Upcoming Events title filter to work.

I’ve tried a variation of the filter described here: https://gist.github.com/3229874, but changed the ‘tribe_month_grid_view_title’ to ‘tribe_upcoming_events_title’ instead.

The title is being overwritten by Yoast’s SEO plugin, and is showing the first event’s title as the page’s title.

To be clear, I’m talking about the page’s title in the title tag .

If I disable Yoast’s SEO plugin, I can manipulate this title without trouble. With the plugin activated, it works sometimes, and it doesn’t work sometimes.

If it matters, I’m using the Genesis Framework.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Hi Mike,

I answered this in another thread here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/yoast-ecl/

Basically, if using WP SEO, you cannot use our filter and need to use the WP SEO filter for titles instead. I hope that helps but let me know if you need any clarification.

    Cheers,
    Jonah
