Editing a recurring event after publishing

Just started using Pro, entering events is great. I wanted to make a slight edit to the text of a recurring event. I hit update and the screen added a dark grey overprint, the wheel spun, and I was unable to access the box that asks this event or all events? The only way to get out was to hit the back button. The edit was not made. Only other plug in are Contact Form 7, WPMailto links, Google analytics, WP Supercache
