Edit/Delete Calendar Listing

I need assistance setting up the edit listing and delete listing functions of the community events calendar. I tried putting the edit and delete shortcodes in my navigation menu (under “Edit your event” and “Delete your event” headers) but it does not work since it needs to reference the listing ID. I get this message if I click either link: “No Results Found. The page you requested could not be found. Try refining your search, or use the navigation above to locate the post.” Can someone tell me how this shortcode is meant to be utilized? Is it a button that gets displayed next to existing listings, and if so, how do I get it there? I basically need to know how to let my end users know how to edit and delete their event listings. Thanks!

Hi Again,

I am not sure what you mean. We do not have a shortcode to edit or delete an event using Community Events.

We have two links for the Community Events:

To Add Events:
http://yoursite.com/events/community/add

A list of events your logged in account created:
http://yoursite.com/events/community/list

You could link people to that list of events and from there they can find the event and edit or delete it.

We do not have another way to direct go to a edit or delete an event using the Community Events Plugin.
