    Hi,

We are using following plugins in our site:
    — Woocommerce
    — Event Tickets
    — Event Ticket Plus
    — Event Calendar Pro

Once the order is completed – customers will receive two emails, 1. Order Confirmation mail, 2. Ticket mail.

We are using Qtranslate plugin for different languages and it seems the texts are not getting translated. So I tried to translate the ticket name and ticket type using gettext hook, but its not getting translated. I tried to manage the texts in ticket email by overriding email.php (tickets/email.php) in theme folder.

Could you suggest how to do the changes for ticket name in order confirmation mail to customer?

    Thanks!

    Hello Russel,

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

Let me try to help you with your question.

As a first I just want to clarify that we don’t officially support qTranslate. It might be that we are missing something from our code that would make it work properly.

You mention the order confirmation mail. That is generated and sent out by WooCommerce.

A bit of background: when you create a ticket for an event, then a corresponding WooCommerce product is created. You can see all of them under Products in your backend, they just don’t show up in the frontend because they are hidden from the catalog.

When the order confirmation email goes out, that is the default WooCommerce order confirmation email which likely takes the product name from the WooCommerce Product and not the Ticket of The Events Calendar / Event Tickets.

For this I would suggest to check the web how WooCommerce emails can be translated with qTranslate.

I hope this will help you get started. Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Cheers,
    Andras

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
