ParticipantHi,
i have Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus connected with woocommerce.
I just discovered there is no way for users to modify the ticket they purchased. Ok.I tried to manually edit an order of my customer, removing an event and adding a different event in the order.
The new email with tickets he received still has the old tickets. Is there a fix for that? Thanks

ParticipantHey @Shane,
Thanks for reaching out. There are two things I want to mention here.
First, this is not possible:
removing an event and adding a different event in the order
☝️ If you need to get a user/attendee to have tickets for a different event, the best method for this is to create a coupon code for a 100% discount and then let them use that to “buy” a new ticket to that new event. Our plugins and the email system do not support manual re-attachment of tickets to different events at this time.
However, there is some good news here, because our next major release (which should hopefully come in the next 7–14 days) is version 4.2. With version 4.2 of The Events Calendar and Event Tickets Plus, users will finally be able to edit their orders and some of the ticket information they entered upon purchase.
Now, “moving” the ticket to some other event will still not be possible, but editing some order details aside from that will be.
I am sorry if this information is disappointing—please let me know what other questions you may have and if there’s anything else I can help with.
Cheers,

ParticipantDear George,
I updated the plugins, but i wasn’t able to find any way for the users to edit their orders, can you confirm that such functionality has been released? Thanks

ParticipantHey @Shane,
Thank you for your update, and for your patience over the weekend!
When it comes to that feature—letting attendees edit their orders—have you configured things exactly as described in the “Letting Attendees Edit Their Information” section of this page? ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/#editing-attendee-info
If not, please read through those details carefully and configure things as described. That section links to another knowledgebase article or two, so be sure to follow those as described, too. This may sound like a lot of tutorial-reading and jumping-through-hoops, but I can assure you that it’s a much easier process to set up than it sounds.
Let me know if that information helps!
Sincerely,
GeorgeJune 21, 2016 at 2:44 pm #1130095Shane
ParticipantThanks George,
will this process allow users to totally change the ticket they bought?
For example, if User Bob, purchases the events “Morning Party” and “Dinner on the beach”.What if Bob wants to change “Morning Party” with “Evening Party”?
Can we do it in the Admin dashboard?
Can we let users do that?June 21, 2016 at 8:18 pm #1130223George
ParticipantHey @Shane,
Thanks for your follow-up. Users cannot change the actual events to which their tickets belong, as you describe—they can just modify details of the tickets they already have, like if they RSVP as “Going” they can change it to “Not Going”. Or, for example, if the tickets have attendee information like “Any allergies?” and they answer with “Peanuts”, they can edit their answer so that it’s “Peanuts and shellfish”, and so on…
You as an admin—but not your cutomers or non-admin users!—can technically change the events to which tickets are associated to…but even as an admin, this process is not straightforward, and would require manual re-association of WooCommerce product data and such.
So even as an admin, the easiest way to change tickets would be to Refund the first ticket order to Event A, and then just make a new purchase for the user for Event B (either by using a “manual purchase” feature in WooCommerce, or by giving the customer a temporary 100% discount code).
I hope this information helps!
George
