I’d like to purchase a license for the Pro version, but I’m having some pretty serious issues with the free one. Namely, I cannot delete an event – a huge problem as there are dummy events on the site, and it is scheduled to go live. This is going to cause a delay on my end in releasing the site. When I click “Edit Events” from the top bar, (Under events) I am redirected to a page that says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this admin page.” and nothing more. I *am* the admin, so clearly this is some kind of error. When I click an event on the front-end, and then click edit from the top menu bar, I am brought to the page that edits that specific event, but I cannot move to trash as I get the “you do not have sufficient permissions” error message.

I need this to be resolved ASAP, as I can’t have a plugin running if there are these fundamental parts of it that I can’t access, and I can’t have the mockup events be seen when the site goes fully live.

    Please advise!

Hey Erin and welcome to The Events Calendar premium forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products. It’s truly appreciated.

However, please note that we do not offer support for our free plugin in this premium add-ons forum. But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.

At a quick glance, file permissions are often something that needs to be updated on the server. Here’s a WordPress article on how to update file permissions.

If you don’t mind, in the future could you please post your support questions here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar ?

    Best regards,
    Geoff
