I’m having an issue deleting the 28,000 events created from a single re-ocurrance. Each time I select the “edit all” or edit “upcoming” button in the admin panel, the link fails and goes back two the same page. Please let me know if there is any other information you need from me. 🙂
Also: I am running WordPress WordPress 3.9.1 and The Events Calendar Pro.
That is highly unusual! And it sounds like a pain. 🙁
Can you simply delete the event and recreate it afterwards? Maybe use the bulk actions selector to delete it? If that does not work, you might try switching themes to Twenty Fourteen, and disabling all plugins except The Events Calendar, then retrying the delete.
Does that make sense? Did that work? Please let me know. Cheers!
I was able to use the plugin your company posted about managing duplicate events. It took a few times running it but, I was able to cut 30,000 down to a manageable 500. Thanks for your prompt response.
Thank you for posting adamcengel. You are very welcome for the support! I was just closing out some older topics like this one. If you have a minute or two, we would love it if you could write a few words about the plugin here. Cheers!
