Edit a ticket order

Hi,

How do we go about editing an order to swop an event and re-issue tickets?

Surely there must be a way to do this? I can see re-issue thats not a problem, but cant seem to assign a new event or swop.

Hi Paul,

There’s not really a built-in mechanism for this. Currently the best approach is to cancel the existing order, delete the corresponding entries from the attendee list and then build a fresh order through WooCommerce’s order editor.

Would that work here? Certainly if you’d like to see a more integrated approach we’d love to hear from you over on our feature request page (UserVoice).

This isnt really a solution, as you cant create orders in the admin for tickets. Sure you can create an order, but this adds products only and not tickets!

Theres a pretty severe lack of functionality in this plugin when you cant even edit orders!

I’m sorry that isn’t working for you, but can you clarify where the problem is? If I create tickets for an event and call one of them “Standard Admission” (as an example), then manually create a new order, I can search for and add that as a line item.

Tickets are, ultimately, just WooCommerce products – and the order editor seems able to make use of them like any other product best I can tell.

If I’m misunderstanding definitely let me know and I’ll take another look.
