ParticipantHello,
I purchased EDD Tickets and it works all fine. But there is one thing. I wan’t to create an easy ticket checkout. Only 2 Tickets for one event should be sold on my site.
1.) So I created tickets for my front page so the checkout steps are:
frontpage with ticket selection -> cart -> checkout (3 steps)
-> My problem: There is not date & venue info on the tickets
2.) I created tickets with events calendar with the following steps:
frontpage -> event site with ticket selection -> cart -> checkout (4 steps)
-> Tickets created with events calendar contain date & venue info – ok! But now I have 4 checkout steps.
My dream is to have only one step, is there maybe a solution? At least it would help me if I can have date & venue on the ticket selled on a page. Or is it possible to set an event as a frontpage? I’m only able to set posts or pages to frontpage.
Thank you π
Best

ParticipantHey Christian,
Thanks for reaching out! I agree that having a one-page checkout would be pretty slick; it is unfortunately not possible at this time with our plugins π
I’m sorry about that!
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can try to help with.
Sincerely,

ParticipantHello George,
thanks for your answer!
Is it maybe possible to get date and location to a ticket based on a page? If not I could put date and venue at least into the ticket template and that solution would be ok for me…

ParticipantHey Christian,
Thanks for the follow-up. What you’re asking to do would require custom code, unfortunately, and we cannot help with custom code π
However, I’m still happy to try and help as much as I am able toβcan you explain a bit more about how you want the date and location to appear and such? Can you clarify what this means, for example:
Is it maybe possible to get date and location to a ticket based on a page?
If you can share a screenshot of where you want such information to display, and what specific information you mean, that will help a lot and I will try to recommend some custom code. You can share screenshots by uploading the image to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.
Thank you!

ParticipantHi George,
now I have set up a proper solution for me. It’s not elegant, but for me it works really fine.
I attached a ticket to a page and set it as frontpage and I added to the ticket template the venue and time. my woocommerce cart is replaced by Bootstrap one page checkout https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/bootstrap-one-page-woocommerce-checkout/
So I have now:
Frontpage -> One page checkout (2 steps)
Now it works as I wanted π
Thank you
