do i need an ecommerce program to work with events ticket pro or can i just use my paypal account?

At this time, you would need to add an ecommerce plugin as well. We currently support WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads.Read more about each option’s features and payment gateways. Both of these will connect with Paypal.
